Russian losses in Bakhmut are higher than Ukrainian: Maliar refutes Russian fakes

The Deputy Minister of Defense informed about this on Telegram.

She claimed that Russian information special operations have once again focused on the topic of Bakhmut, spreading the narrative that the Ukrainian military command does not spare the lives of defenders.

The purpose of such fake news is to undermine the trust of Ukrainians in the leadership of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

"In reality, the numbers and facts speak for themselves. Russian losses in Bakhmut are many times higher. There are days when the difference reaches 10 times... Saving the lives of our soldiers is a priority for the military command, which is why the military has repeatedly explained the decisions made during public communications," emphasised Hanna Maliar.

• Russian troops have turned part of Bakhmut into the Syrian city of Aleppo, which was massively destroyed by bombing.  

• In the city of Bakhmut, Donetsk region, the most fierce and heavy clashes continue, the Russian army has concentrated its most professional units, but they are unable to gain full control.  

• The spokesman for the Eastern Grouping of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Serhiy Cherevatyi, said that the Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to target the Wagnerites and the so-called elite troops of Russia, which were sent to reinforce the front in Bakhmut in Donetsk region.
