Invading Russia forces tell residents of villages near Mariupol that they have received an order to capture Vuhledar and Zaporizhzhia in February
Petro Andriushchenko, an advisor to the mayor of Mariupol, noted that on the night of February 2, the invading Russian troops brought up to 20 tanks to villages near Mariupol. Russian soldiers stationed near the village of Nikolske and in the direction of Volnovakha tell residents about the order to capture Vuhledar and Zaporizhzhia in February.
“Invading Russian forces, who are stationed around the Nikolske village and in the area towards Volnovakha, openly tell the locals (especially after being treated to vodka) that they received an order to take Vuhledar and Zaporizhzhia in February,” Petro Anriushchenko emphasized.

The previous day, Maksym Verbovskyi, deputy head of the Vuhledar Military Administration, said that 500 more residents remained in Vuhledar: the town was almost 100% destroyed by the Russian army.
