Russian forces shell parking lot in Kherson, leaving dead and wounded

This was reported by the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, and the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office.

The reports noted that at about 09:00 am, Russian troops fired on Kherson, most likely with artillery.

As of 09:40 am, three civilians have been reported injured: two were killed and one was wounded - a 68-year-old resident of Kherson. Doctors are conducting an examination and providing assistance to the victim.

Later, the Kherson Regional Military Administration clarified that another person was injured as a result of the Russian shelling of the city. A 56-year-old woman was in her apartment at the time of the attack. She was hospitalized with a concussion and back injury. Hospitals assessed her condition as moderate. 

The agency shared the video of the attack’s consequences.

In addition, cars and a residential building were heavily damaged.

• Yesterday morning, Russian forces also shelled Kherson with artillery, injuring five residents, including a child. The three-year-old girl was taken to intensive care with multiple injuries and concussion.
