Russian forces mine summer cottages in Kherson region - General Staff

The Ukrainian Armed Forces General Staff reported this in the morning report on December 15.

"According to available information, the Russian forces mined summer cottages and the banks of the Konka and Chaika rivers within the Oleshky city territorial community of the Kherson region," the report says.

The Russian army forcibly evacuated Ukrainian citizens who lived on the Velykyi Potomkinskyi Island near Kherson to the territory still controlled by the Russian soldiers.

• On December 12, the head of the Kherson city military administration Halyna Luhova reported that the occupants were destroying Kherson with mortar fire.

• On December 13, it became known that Russia withdrew its troops from the Novomykolaivka and Mykhaylivka districts of the Kherson region. On the same day in the Kherson region, one person was killed and one was injured by Russian shelling.
