Russian forces lose ground daily in Bakhmut sector – Ukrainian fighter
Major Rodion Kudriashov, deputy commander of the 3rd Detached Assault Brigade, is confident that the liberation of Kurdyumivka, Andriivka and Klishchiivka from the invading Russian troops is only a matter of time
He said this on Espreso TV.
"The situation on the outskirts of Bakhmut, namely in the area of Klishchiivka, Andriivka, Kurdyumivka, is quite tense but dynamic. The Ukrainian Armed Forces are conducting assault operations. The enemy is also responding with assaults to regain lost ground. Every day Russia suffers losses, losing positions in certain areas of the front," emphasized Kudriashov.
According to the fighter, the key task in the Bakhmut sector is to take the dominant heights and forest belts.
"So far, we are not talking about such gains as the capture of the main points. This is because the settlements on this section are not yet the key objective. The key objective is the heights, enemy fortifications, and forest belts located on the flank of Bakhmut. The situation is under control, the initiative is in the hands of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Complete liberation of the Bakhmut flank, Kurdyumivka, Andriivka and Klishchiivka is a matter of time," emphasized Kudriashov.
