Russian forces continue to destroy de-occupied settlements in Luhansk region in attempt to seize them
Invading Russian troops continue to destroy the de-occupied settlements of the Luhansk region trying to capture them
The head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration Serhiy Haidai reported that the enemy is trying to capture the de-occupied villages, and is advancing in the Svatove district.
“The fighting is now taking place near the de-occupied settlement of Stelmakhivka. They are constantly storming in that direction. Similarly, fighting is going on in the direction of Makiivka-Nevske and Kuzemivka-Novoselske. There is almost nothing left of these settlements, because the Russians have smashed them to pieces with constant shelling and heavy caliber weapons,” the head of the region said.
Occupying Russian forces continue to pursue a strategy of reaching the administrative borders of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions.
“As for tactical actions, they realize that they cannot blitzkrieg and advance quickly. The tactic is as follows: where they can, they advance. Where they see that they have at least some success, they throw all their reserves in, fire more, and advance, and then see what they get as a result of some success. But the Ukrainian Armed Forces are holding the line, and the situation is under control,” added Haidai.
