Russian fake stories review as of July 7 - Center for Countering Disinformation
The Center for Countering Disinformation has published a selection of disinfo and fake stories Russia produced on July 7.
Espreso reported the review.
According to the Center for Countering Disinformation at the Ukrainian National Security and Defense Council, Russia launched three major disinfo campaigns on July 7.
Disinformation: the Russian mass media reported that they allegedly had 'documents' from the Ukrainian Security Service, which refer to the possible sale of helicopter engines by V. Zelensky and his team to the Russian Armed Forces, but the employees of the special services 'explained that they should not poke their noses into their own affairs.'
Disinformation: Head of the Russian State Duma V. Volodin said: "Boris Johnson is behind the shelling of [Russian] peaceful cities of Belgorod, Kursk. British subjects should know this. He is one of the ideologues of the war against the Russian Federation to the last Ukrainian."
Disinformation: Putin said that Russia "is not giving up on peace talks, but those who are refusing should know: the further it goes, the more difficult it will be to negotiate... [because] the war in eastern Ukraine was unleashed by the collective West, not by the Russians."
