Russian attacks across 11 regions of Ukraine: 8 people killed, 10 wounded over past day

On Friday, July 21, the Russian military attacked 11 regions of Ukraine. At least 8 people were killed and 10 others were wounded as a result of the attacks

Information about the consequences of the attacks was released by the regional military administrations.

Kirovohrad region: last night, Russian forces attacked the region with drones. They were destroyed by air defense forces. There were no casualties or injuries, no damage to civilian buildings was recorded.

Chernihiv region: the enemy attacked the region 7 times over the last day, in particular, launched 4 cruise missiles at Chernihiv district. The strike destroyed a cultural center, damaged windows in high-rise buildings and administrative buildings. Two people were killed. 

The Novhorod-Siversky district suffered from shelling with grenade launchers and mortars.

Sumy region: Russian forces fired 29 times at the border. Seven communities were attacked, preliminary without casualties. At night and in the morning, the enemy fired at 4 settlements in 4 territorial communities

Dnipropetrovsk region: the enemy deployed 4 unmanned aerial vehicles in the region yesterday. Two were shot down, the wreckage of one of them caused a fire and damaged a power line. Two more hit the Chervonohryhorivka community, causing a fire, which was extinguished by rescuers.

Also in the evening, the enemy shelled Nikopol with artillery fire. Three people were injured. Eight private houses and nine outbuildings were damaged. A power line was damaged. At night, the aggressor shelled an industrial enterprise.

Zaporizhzhia region: over the last day, Russian troops fired 85 times at 22 settlements.  The destruction of 30 residential buildings was recorded.

The Russian forces launched 8 MLRS attacks at Novomykhailivske, Novodarivka and Levadne, while Stepove was attacked with an UAV.

Kharkiv region: five settlements in the Kupiansk direction were shelled with artillery and mortar fire. Yesterday, near the villages of Morozova Dolyna and Lemishchyno in Bohodukhiv region, a mortar attack burned wheat in a field of 21 hectares. The enemy also struck Blahodativka village in Kupiansk region with an S-300 missile, hitting the ground outside the village.  

A 30-year-old civilian man was wounded in Velykyi Burluk, Kupiansk region, as a result of shelling. Near the village of Turove, Bohodukhiv district, a remote-controlled K-750 tractor exploded on an explosive device. A fire broke out.

Luhansk region: yesterday the aggressor tried to advance almost along the entire frontline, these attempts were stopped by Ukrainian troops.  Nevske and Bilohorivka came under Russian artillery fire. The enemy made 151 attacks over the last day.

Donetsk region: Russian forces attacked ten settlements in the region 18 times yesterday, damaging 35 residential buildings, 3 civilian cars, a gas pipeline, a railway track, an administrative building, and burning 5 hectares of wheat. Six people were killed, including two children, and 5 wounded.

Mykolaiv region: Russian army fired artillery at the coast and the town of Ochakiv.

Odesa region: on July 21, during a daytime attack on an infrastructure facility in Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi district, the enemy launched 7 cruise missiles of various types, causing extensive damage.

Kherson region: the Russian enemy attacked in the region 63 times over the last day, including 3 attacks in the city of Kherson. The enemy hit the districts of 23 settlements in the region, a sports facility in Beryslav district, and the administrative building in Kherson. One person was wounded as a result of Russian shelling.
