Russia attacks New York in Donetsk region, killing 4 people, wounding 3 more
On Friday, July 21, the Russian army carried out air strikes on the village of New York in Donetsk region, killing four people and injuring three others
This was reported by the Donetsk Regional Prosecutor's Office.
It is noted that the Russian forces struck the village at about 19:05, using FAB-250 bombs.
"This attack killed four local residents, including a married couple - the remains of their bodies were removed by rescuers from the rubble of the destroyed house," the statement said.
In addition, three other civilians were wounded, including a woman whose husband was killed. They were taken to a hospital with injuries of varying severity.
"The explosive waves damaged residential buildings and outbuildings. The final number of victims of the attack is being established. Law enforcement officers and rescuers are working at the scene," the prosecutor's office added.
The head of the President's Office, Andriy Yermak, reported the attack on the settlement on July 21.
He noted that Russian forces had conducted three air strikes on the village of New York. In the evening of July 21, four people were reported wounded: three women and one man.
