Russian attack kills three children from one family in Korostyshiv
In the devastating attack on May 25th, three children from the Martyniuk family were killed in Korostyshiv. Their parents remain hospitalized
According to information from the Gustaw Olizar Lyceum No.1 of the Korostyshiv City Council, the victims were students of the lyceum: 17-year-old Roman, 12-year-old Tamara, and 8-year-old Stanislav, all from the Martyniuk family.
Rescuers are clearing the ruins of the Martyniuk family home.
"Today, as a result of a brutal nighttime attack, we lost three of our children," the statement reads.
Roman was set to celebrate his graduation in just a few days.
"His younger brother and sister still had so many first bells, excursions, holidays, discoveries, and happy childhood moments ahead of them… But all of this was cut short by the war," the lyceum added.
The school family expressed their condolences to the relatives and loved ones of the deceased children.
"May the bright memory of Roman, Tamara, and Stanislav remain with us forever. We will never forgive," the lyceum concluded.
Father Ihor and mother Olena are currently in the hospital, with the woman’s condition being critical.
