Russian army shells Beryslav city market, Kherson region, injuring at least 5 people
In the morning of January 2, Russian troops have shelled the center and city market of Beryslav, Kherson region. As a result, at least 5 people are injured

Yaroslav Yanushevych, head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, reported the information on Telegram.
"The Russian army launched another terrorist attack on the Kherson region," the head wrote.
In particular, this morning, Russian forces fired at the city market in the center of Beryslav. Most likely, it was a tank fire launched from the temporarily occupied Kakhovka.
Five people were reportedly injured.
Three people are in serious condition. They will be evacuated to Kherson for medical assistance.
- As of January 2, Russian forces in Kherson are on the defensive, regrouping its troops, and shelling the positions of Ukrainian troops.
