Russian army launches 8 cruise missiles, 35 attack drones at night; air defense shoots down most
On the night of June 10, Russian troops have attacked Ukraine with Iranian-made Shahed-136/131 attack drones. They have launched a total of 35 attack drones and 8 cruise missiles
The Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported the information on Telegram.
"A total of 8 ground-based missiles of various types and 35 Iranian-made Shahed-136/131 attack drones were fired from the east coast of the Sea of Azov at critical infrastructure and military facilities from the northern and southern directions," the statement said.
Ukrainian air defense destroyed 2 cruise missiles (type is being specified) and 20 Shahed-136/131 attack drones.
Russian troops struck one of the operational airfields in the Poltava region with ballistic and cruise missiles of the Iskander type, as well as Iranian-made attack UAVs. Odesa and Kharkiv regions were attacked with ground-launched cruise missiles and attack drones.

Late in the evening of June 9, Russian forces attacked Odesa with Shahed drones, air defense systems were activated: the debris hit a high-rise building, killing 3 people and injuring over 10.
