Russian army is constantly attacking Avdiivka in agony: AFU officer on frontline situation
Officer of the 59th Detached Infantry Brigade named after Y. Handziuk, Serhiy Tsehotskyi, noted that Russian forces have focused all their attention on the Avdiivka direction
He said this on the Espreso TV channel.
"As of now, the situation in the Avdiivka direction is no different from the previous days. Currently, the weather conditions are such that they really prevent the Russians from conducting very active offensive actions and using equipment, even drones are not flying today. And yesterday it was sunny and everything was flying. Now the weather is playing into our hands again. The enemy is using artillery around the clock," noted Tsehotskyi.
According to the officer, Russian troops are focusing all their attention on the Avdiivka direction.
"They are in such agony that they need to enter Avdiivka and surround it. To lie down there, but to capture it. We are destroying them, but they keep fighting. They have focused all their attention on the Avdiivka direction. The leadership of the Russian army is constantly lying to its soldiers about some successes. And this pushes these carcasses to go on the offensive, to storm. And for the Ukrainian Armed Forces, these are targets that need to be destroyed," emphasized Tsehotskyi.
- On November 27, the head of Avdiivka city military administration Vitaliy Barabash reported that the situation in the Avdiivka direction became even more difficult.
- Over the past day, Ukrainian troops repelled Russian attacks at the Kupyansk, Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, Marinka and Zaporizhzhia directions. Ukrainian defenders also killed 1140 invaders.
