Ukrainian troops eliminate 1,140 Russian soldiers, 15 tanks, 32 artillery systems in 24 hrs

The General Staff of Ukraine reported on the latest developments at the front on 29 November.

General Staff report: Defense Forces repel Russian attacks in 6 directions, 87 clashes took place at the front

This was reported by the General Staff.

The situation in the area of responsibility of the North Operational and Strategic Grouping of troops near the border of Ukraine and Belarus remains without significant changes.

In the north-eastern directions, the enemy maintains a military presence in the border areas, conducts active sabotage activities to prevent the deployment of our troops to threatened areas, and increases the density of minefields along the state border in the Belgorod region.

In the area of responsibility of the Khortytsia Grouping of troops in the Kupyansk sector, the enemy conducted unsuccessful assault operations near Synkivka and Petropavlivka in Kharkiv region, where the Defense Forces repelled five attacks.

In the Lyman sector, Ukrainian troops repelled four invaders' attacks near Terny, Donetsk region.

In the Bakhmut sector, the enemy conducted assault operations in the areas of Bohdanivka, Klishchiyivka, Andriivka and Pivnichne, Donetsk region. Ukrainian defenders repelled 16 attacks. In turn, the Ukrainian Defense Forces continue their assault operations south of Bakhmut in Donetsk region, inflicting losses in manpower and equipment on the enemy, and consolidating their positions.

In the area of responsibility of the Tavria Grouping of troops in the Avdiivka sector, the enemy keeps trying to encircle Avdiivka. Ukrainian soldiers are steadfastly holding the line, inflicting significant losses on the invaders. The Russian Federation's offensive south of Novokalynove, Stepove, Avdiivka, Tonenke and Pervomayske, Donetsk region was unsuccessful, where the Defense Forces repelled 27 attacks.

In the Marinka sector, Ukrainian troops repelled 17 enemy attacks in the areas of Krasnohorivka, Marinka and Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region.

In the Shakhtarsk sector, the enemy conducted unsuccessful assault operations southwest of Staromayorske and Vodiane in the Donetsk region.

In the Zaporizhzhia sector, the enemy conducted unsuccessful assault operations west of Verbove and Robotyne, where Ukrainian defenders repelled 9 enemy attacks.

At the same time, the Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to conduct offensive operations in the Melitopol sector, inflicting losses in manpower and equipment on the invaders, and depleting the enemy along the entire front line.

In the area of responsibility of the Odesa Grouping of troops in the Kherson sector, the Defense Forces are holding their positions on the left bank of the Dnipro River, continuing to conduct counter-battery combat, and inflicting fire on the enemy's rear.

Russian army launched 14 missile and 80 air strikes on the territory of Ukraine

Over the past day, 87 combat engagements took place.

In total, the enemy launched 14 missile strikes and 80 air strikes, fired 68 times from multiple launch rocket systems at Ukrainian troops' positions and populated areas. Yesterday, the invaders attacked Ukraine using 21 Shahed-136/131 attack UAVs. All enemy drones were destroyed.

Air strikes were carried out in: Ivanivka, Stepova-Novoselivka, Kharkiv region; Spirne, Chasiv Yar, Toretsk, Donetsk region; Zmiivka, Beryslav, Kozatske, Kherson region.

More than 100 settlements in Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipro and Kherson regions came under artillery fire.

Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed a command post and 5 enemy air defense systems

Over the past day, the aviation of the Defense Forces carried out 13 strikes on manpower, weapons and military equipment concentration areas and 3 strikes on enemy anti-aircraft missile systems.

Missile units hit a command center, 5 air defense facilities, 9 artillery pieces, an ammunition depot, and an enemy electronic warfare station.

• Analysts at the Institute for War Studies said that Ukrainian defenders continue to hold the line and advance near Bakhmut. Instead, Russian militants are advancing along the Kupyansk-Svatove-Kreminna line.
