Russian army gains pace to speed up capture of Bakhmut, - Deputy Commander Kudriashov
The deputy commander of the 3rd separate assault brigade, Major Rodion Kudriashov, noted that the number of enemies trying to advance on our positions is incredibly high
He said this on Espreso TV channel.
"The situation is tense in the Bakhmut sector, the enemy has gained pace. If the pace was high for 3-4 months, now the enemy has increased it to speed up its attempts to capture Bakhmut from its outskirts," noted Kudriashov.
According to him, the situation is difficult in the Bakhmut sector, but controlled by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
"Bakhmut is keeping the defense. The territories near Bakhmut are also holding defense. The enemy is using new attacks, which means it attacks throughout the day and night. We need a lot of ammunition to repel the enemy's attacks," emphasized Kudriashov.
