Russian actions may provoke NATO to enter the war – Military expert Zgurets
Military expert Serhiy Zgurets believes that NATO countries should prepare for a possible escalation due to unpredictable actions of the Russian army
He expressed this opinion during an Espreso TV channel broadcast.
"Situations like today – Russian fighter jets near the airspace of Poland – will occur more often. After all, we can also recall the recent missile attack on the territory of Ukraine, where one of the Russian cruise missiles was recorded in the airspace of Romania, and this could actually be interpreted as aggression against NATO," Zgurets said.
The analyst emphasized that NATO countries should prepare for a possible escalation by the Russian Federation.
"All these cases can lead to escalation and the NATO reaction. Currently, the work of the entire Alliance is focused on hostilities in Ukraine; they provide assistance to Ukraine. However, the dynamics of hostilities can develop unpredictably. NATO countries should prepare for the Russian actions that may lead to a greater escalation with the Alliance," he added.
