Russia will bypass Vuhledar to ensure functioning of Volnovakha station. Weekly military results
Russia's troops are likely to try to bypass Vuhledar and create conditions for the safe operation of the Volnovakha station. This is important for Russia, as the station is one of the elements of logistics suppor
Frontline situation
Invading Russian forces will try to move not towards Kurakhove, away from Marinka, but towards Pobieda and Vuhledar. Today, Marinka is a difficult section of the frontline held by Ukraine's troops. However, given Russia's pressure and certain circumstances, it may make sense to move to other defensive positions.
This week was the most difficult in recent times. Every day there were significant numbers of combat clashes. Now Russia is trying to use the advantage in manpower in many areas to push Ukraine's defense. The most difficult areas today are Marinka, Avdiivka, Bakhmut and Kupyansk. There has been some stabilization around Avdiivka. But as for Marinka, there are many reports that Russian troops control about 92% of the town.
There are also some Russian advances in the northwestern part of Marinka, north of the reservoir that splits the settlement in two. Having made some progress in the northwest, the Russian army is trying to move south. In particular, to move towards Pobieda and expand the pressure zone on the Ukrainian defense line. Below Pobieda, there is the village of Novomykhailivka. Thus, the invaders are trying to expand the front line towards Vuhledar. However, Ukraine's brigades are quite effective in striking them.
Situation in Avdiivka
The dynamics have become less dynamic in recent days. Russia's scheme is not working at all. It is about ensuring the advance from Stepove to Sieverne and the intention to close the encirclement.
The situation in Avdiivka has reached record levels over the past two months. Russians have lost more personnel than in the first months of the invasion of Ukraine. In total, Russia's losses there now amount to about 13,000 personnel killed and wounded and more than 200 units of various armored vehicles. But Russia continues its efforts to encircle the town.
This week, the Russian militants advanced north of Stepove, expanding their advance along the railroad. The situation around the industrial zone where they pushed through a week ago has not changed significantly. However, one more direction has been added, which concerns Nevelske, west of Avdiivka. There, Russia is also trying to expand its zone of influence on Ukraine's defense line.
Given the fact that Avdiivka has been held for a long time, with artillery and additional assets being deployed there, the Ukrainian command does not want to leave this section of the front. Thus, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are holding a significant grouping of Russian forces and inflicting significant losses on them. There are about 40 thousand Russian personnel in this area. It was reported that Russia's personnel outnumbered the Ukrainian Armed Forces five to one.
Bakhmut
The situation near Bakhmut remains difficult. In the north, the Russian forces have leveled the defense line from Ivanivske, Khromove to Bohdanivka. They have managed to destroy some of the results achieved by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Thanks to the transfer of reserves to this area, there is a constant rotation there. The paratroopers rotate with the units of the 1st Corps. Due to the large number of personnel and rotation, the invaders have advanced some distance into Ukraine's territory.
The situation around Klishchiivka is also difficult today. Despite the active work of Ukrainian artillery, the Russian army is actively using a significant number of personnel there. The Ukrainian Armed Forces say they have enough artillery, but Russia has much more mortars. That is, the invaders are trying to influence Ukraine's defense line using FPV drones and mortars.
Krynky
The situation in the Krynky area is extremely difficult for Ukrainian troops. However, it is even more difficult for Russia in this section of the frontline. Thanks to artillery and FPV drones, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are holding this foothold. Despite the fact that Russia has deployed additional units during this period.
In total, there are about 65 thousand Russian aggressors on the left bank of the Kherson region. At the same time, these footholds are held by Ukrainian marines, which number about 600 or 1,000 people. These are the figures that can characterize the number of Ukrainian marines and other military personnel. That is, a certain group is holding such a significant number of Russian forces.
Putin's speech on Ukraine
Putin and Russia have not abandoned their plans to invade Ukraine. The article in Bild echoes Putin's statements to some extent. They say that they will still attack, the goals of the "special operation" have not changed, everything is going according to plan. But in fact, these ideas have not changed. We understand that Putin's goal is to destroy Ukraine. Therefore, these "divisions along the Dnipro" or other things are only, relatively speaking, partial solutions. Ukraine understands these aspirations of Russia, and Ukrainians must first and foremost defend themselves and draw conclusions from all of Putin's statements.
Ammunition production in Ukraine
Ukraine produces anti-tank guided missiles, long-range missiles that sank the cruiser Moskva. Ukraine also manufactures radar systems that are needed by air defense system, and produces FPV drones. Of course, this is not enough to meet all Ukraine's needs. That is why Ukraine emphasizes assistance from its partners.
This week there were many announcements of aid for Ukraine. We are talking about a $200 million package of American aid. There were also many announcements from Germany. In particular, about the transfer of the 3rd Patriot system and a number of ammunition. So, European countries provide support to the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
However, the need for weapons is always growing. Ukraine expects greater unity among European partners to remove Putin's desires that "the West will get tired of the war in Ukraine."
