Zelenskyy's Victory Plan for Ukraine includes NATO membership, says Presidential aide
Head of the President's Office Andriy Yermak said that Ukraine's invitation to NATO is part of Zelenskyy's Victory Plan
He said this during a speech at the Council on Foreign Relations in New York.
“Ukraine's invitation to NATO is part of the Victory Plan. I also called on our partners to ignore the threats of escalation from Russia,” Yermak said.
He also stated that the Victory Plan is divided into two parts: military and diplomatic.
"We need to gain an advantage on the battlefield to force Putin to stop the fighting. We're working relentlessly to achieve this. Without ships, we destroyed the Black Sea Fleet. Without air superiority, we stopped the Russian advance in most directions, including Kharkiv. Without fear, we brought the war back to Russia," emphasized the head of the Presidential Office.
According to him, despite the fact that Ukraine has increased weapons production six times, it still lacks the resources, technology and time to produce everything it needs.
Yermak called on the allies to increase and speed up the delivery of military aid packages. In particular, the priority list includes air defense systems, drones, electronic warfare equipment, long-range systems, and artillery shells.
“I also called on our partners to increase investment in the production of Ukrainian weapons and emphasized the importance of giving Ukraine permission to strike at the territory of the Russian Federation and use frozen Russian assets to support our country,” he added.
- Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that the Ukraine's Victory Plan in the war against Russia can be implemented only through quick decisions of the partners, which they should make between October and December.
