According to Zelenskyy, this three-way meeting will be the first of its kind. The Ukrainian President expressed hope that Moscow will be ready to make compromises to end the war.

Ukraine will be represented at the meeting by National Security and Defense Council Secretary Rustem Umerov, head of the President's Office Kyrylo Budanov, Deputy Head of the President's Office Serhii Kyslytsia, Chief of the General Staff Andrii Hnatov, and Davyd Arakhamia, Zelenskyy stated during a media briefing.

He noted that American special representatives will fly to Moscow today, but were waiting for the results of Zelenskyy's dialogue with Donald Trump before their trip.

The Ukrainian leader described the conversation with his American counterpart as "the last mile," which is typically "very difficult." Overall, he characterized the dialogue as good.

"During any dialogue with any president, I must defend my country's interests. That's why the dialogue may not be simple, but it was today. It was positive," Zelenskyy explained.
