
Zelenskyy: Dnipropetrovsk region hit by over 2,000 airstrikes in 2025
Zelenskyy reports that Ukraine's Dnipropetrovsk has faced nearly double the airstrikes this year, emphasizing the need for increased protection
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a meeting on April 11 regarding the protection of civilians from Russian strikes and the security situation in the Dnipropetrovsk region.
He shared this information on Telegram.
The focus of the meeting was on military issues, security, protecting people, and the possibilities of strengthening air defense, electronic warfare (EW), and mobile fire groups.
“The region has been hit by many Russian attacks. Since the beginning of this year, there have been over 2,000 airstrikes. This is nearly twice as many as during the same period last year,” Zelenskyy reported.
On April 11, the president also honored the memory of the victims of the Russian attack on Kryvyi Rih on April 4.
“We cannot forget the crimes committed by Russia against Ukrainians. The whole world should not forget that for Russia, human life is worth nothing. Eternal memory to all those whose lives were taken by Russian terror,” he wrote.
