Ukraine, U.S. may sign minerals deal memorandum online today - Zelenskyy

He made this statement during a press conference.

According to Zelenskyy, both the Ukrainian and U.S. teams are currently working online on the agreement. He specifically commented on the technical meeting, which was "productive and positive" and took place both online and offline.

"A few days ago, the American side suggested we return to one step — the memorandum of intent. Our intentions are positive, constructive, and we are showing this, so the memorandum of intent (not the actual agreement) may be signed online today," said the president.

He also added that currently, First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Economy, Yulia Svyrydenko, is working with American representatives on the document's text.

• The day before, Svyrydenko shared that there was a positive step in the negotiations between Ukraine and the U.S. regarding the rare earth minerals agreement, which they agreed to formalize in the memorandum of intent.
