Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha believes in the possibility of ending Russia's full-scale war against Ukraine this year

He made this statement in an interview with Firstpost.
“We believe the war will end this year — we really want the war to end this year. All of us are united by this strategic goal to achieve just, comprehensive, and long-lasting peace,” the Foreign Minister said.
Commenting on a potential 30-day ceasefire, Sybiha stated that Ukraine is ready to resist if Russia rejects the proposal. The minister described the ceasefire as a significant step forward towards peace.
“Ukraine supports the US proposal for a ceasefire — temporary ceasefire. We are expecting the Russian response to accept the unconditional ceasefire. It will be a huge step forward to make this peace closer,” the Ukrainian Foreign Minister emphasized.
- Earlier, Sybiha named Kyiv's “red lines” in any potential negotiations: among them are territorial integrity and sovereignty.
