Russian command post hit near Sevastopol

On April 15, an air raid alert was heard in the occupied Crimea. Local publics reported that the invading Russian forces were sending up aircraft and using a smoke screen. The ATESH movement reported a possible hit of a unit of Russia's 810th Separate Marine Brigade in Sevastopol.

At the same time, LIGA.net, citing its own source in the Ukrainian Security and Defence Forces, reports that a Russian command post was hit in Crimea.

Ukraine to receive multi-purpose F-16s capable of hitting distant targets

Norway, together with its Danish and Dutch partners, plans to provide Ukraine with F-16 multi-role fighters with the latest weapons

Norwegian Foreign Minister Espen Barth Eide said this at a briefing with his Ukrainian counterpart Dmytro Kuleba on April 15.

"I am one of those European countries that believe that Ukraine also needs to strengthen its ability to strike behind enemy lines, which is one of the reasons why we are happy to participate in the F-16 fighter jet programme," the minister said.

"We will be providing Norwegian F-16s, which are updated and in good shape. Together with our Danish and Dutch colleagues, we are training Ukrainian pilots. Perhaps there will be even longer-range strike capabilities, which are very important for Ukraine now."

Ukrainian cyber troops hack into websites of partners of Russian armored vehicle manufacturer

Ukrainian hackers have hacked into the websites of partners of the Russian defence company Remdizel, which produces Akhmat armoured vehicles. This was reported by ArmyInform.

Ukrainian cyber soldiers downloaded information from 15 companies that are partners of Remdizel.

"Instead of the home pages of these companies, you can now see the burned Leer 2 and Krasukha - Russian electronic warfare equipment," the report said. The websites were hacked just in time for the Russian electronic warfare day.

"Among the targets affected is the electronic resource of Vtortsvetmet, which is closely linked to the Yaroslavl Rubber Technical Products Plant, a supplier of tyres for Russian civilian and military vehicles. Both companies were headed by Sergei Viktorovich Dalenko, a member of the United Russia party," the statement added.

Two hits at the plant where the Russian military is based in occupied Berdiansk

On Monday, April 15, loud explosions were heard in the temporarily occupied Berdiansk, Zaporizhzhia region. The Russians claimed to have shot down two missiles over the city, and the city administration says that Russians' location near the Yuzhgidromash plant was hit.

"There are two hits in Berdiansk. The first one was at Pivdenhydromash. We immediately saw dark smoke rising. This area is currently blocked off. The Russian military was systematically and densely based there. Indeed, air defence systems were operating in the Berdiansk area, trying to shoot down something. It did not shoot down anything," he stressed.

Canada to donate 450 SkyRanger drones

Canada will start transferring 450 SkyRanger drones to Ukraine in the summer. This was reported by Ukraine's Defense Ministry following an extraordinary meeting of the drone coalition.

Deputy Minister of Defence of Ukraine Kateryna Chernogorenko said that at an extraordinary meeting of the steering group of the drone coalition, it became known that Canada would begin transferring 450 SkyRanger multi-purpose unmanned aerial vehicles this summer. Lithuania will allocate €3 million to Ukraine for the production of FPV drones, and Germany will provide VECTOR 211 reconnaissance UAVs.

The Netherlands has confirmed its desire to contract a €200 million batch of Heidrun RQ-35 drones together with Denmark and Germany.
