Ukrainian Armed Forces struck again at Russian training grounds, eliminating over 50 soldiers, Germany to supply Ukraine long-range missiles and Britain to supply anti-tank missiles

Ukrainian troops target Russia’s training grounds 2 days in a row

The Ukrainian Armed Forces struck a Russian training ground in the Kherson region, eliminating about 60 soldiers.

"All this profanation with putting up the flag and running away from there was enchantingly completed by the way we practiced yesterday at one of the training grounds where the relevant assault groups are actually trained," said Humeniuk, a spokeswoman for the South military command, on Kyiv24 TV channel.

According to her, at the time of the attack, the occupiers were practicing coordination. About 60 Russian servicemen were killed.

At the same time, Humeniuk did not disclose what was used to strike the Russian invaders: "What did we use? We use all the weapons and power we have. Therefore, we do not disclose all our reserves to the enemy. Let them realize that we will get them everywhere."

Earlier, the Ukrainian Armed Forces eliminated over 50 Russian soldiers, striking a training ground in the occupied territory of Donetsk region.

Bundestag recommends providing Ukraine with long-range missiles

Members of the German parliament voted in favor of a recommendation to provide Ukraine with long-range weapons, presumably Taurus missiles. Yehor Cherniev, MP, Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security, Defense and Intelligence, reported the information.

"The Bundestag has just voted in favor of the recommendation to provide Ukraine with long-range systems for ‘pinpoint strikes deep in the rear of the Russian aggressor.’ That is, Tauruses. This is a coalition document, unlike the opposition document that was rejected a little earlier today. The decision is up to Scholz. We are gradually raising the degree of the issue in order to achieve a result," he wrote.

According to Deutschlandfunk, 382 MPs voted in favor of the proposal, 284 voted against and 2 abstained. However, the adopted document does not directly mention Taurus cruise missiles. It states that the coalition's parliamentary factions are in favor of providing Ukraine with "additional necessary long-range weapons systems and ammunition."

The document, in particular, states: "Ukraine must continue to be able to attack military targets such as ammunition depots, supply routes and command posts far behind the front line and be able to protect its soldiers from attacks by the Russian military in the best possible way."

Britain announces aid package that includes Brimstone missiles

Britain has announced a new military aid package for Ukraine. In particular, the Ukrainian Armed Forces will receive anti-tank weapons. This was announced by UK Defence Secretary Grant Shapps, The Guardian reports.

"Today I can announce a new package of 200 “Brimstone” anti-tank missiles in a further boost to defend Ukraine," he said in a statement.

According to him, these missiles have previously had a significant impact on the battlefield, in one case forcing Russian troops to abandon and retreat during an attempted river crossing.

He also added that the UK will train additional Ukrainian troops alongside other allies, adding that together they will train another 10,000 people in the first half of 2024.

European Parliament committees support €50 billion for Ukraine

The European Parliament's relevant committees have supported the decision on the Ukraine Facility, a €50 billion multi-year financial assistance program for Ukraine. This was reported by MEP Viola von Cramon on social media.

"European Parliament’s foreign committee is united in supporting Ukraine. We just approved Ukraine Facility, a €50 Billion financial aid for the years to come," von Cramon wrote.

She also assured that at next week's plenary session in Strasbourg, the entire parliament would again stand in solidarity with Ukraine.

Another aid package from Denmark

Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen announced the signing of a security agreement with Ukraine and a $250 million aid package.

The aid package is announced on the website of the Danish Defense Ministry.

It states that with its help, Denmark, together with the Czech Republic, will finance the purchase of 15,000 155-mm artillery rounds. They will be delivered to Ukraine within a few months.

In addition, the 15th aid package from Denmark will include radars, communication devices, drone equipment from Danish companies, missiles for air defense systems, demining equipment, and drones.

At the same time, DR, citing Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen, informs that in the agreement on security guarantees, Denmark undertakes to support Ukraine in both the military and civilian spheres over the next 10 years. The agreement will be financed from the Ukraine Facility, which is currently estimated at $10 billion.

Ukraine presents third demining vehicle of its own production

In Ukraine, the third model of a domestic demining vehicle has been presented. After its certification, serial production is planned to be launched. The Ministry of Economy's press service reported the information.

The new demining vehicle, in terms of its characteristics, is on par with the best Western counterparts, emphasized the ministry. The Ukrainian machine is based on the chassis of the T-156 tractor and is capable of clearing 5,000 square meters of land per hour. This is approximately the same as the Croatian DOK-ING MV-10, noted the Ministry of Economy.

The domestic innovation also demonstrated an impressively high soil processing density, with only a 2-centimeter distance between the strips treated by the machine's working mechanism.
