Brimstone missiles and training for servicemen: Ukraine gets new aid package from UK

This was announced by UK Defence Secretary Grant Shapps, The Guardian reports.
"Today I can announce a new package of 200 “Brimstone” anti-tank missiles in a further boost to defend Ukraine," he said in a statement.
According to him, these missiles have previously had a significant impact on the battlefield, in one case forcing Russian troops to abandon and retreat during an attempted river crossing.
He also added that the UK will train additional Ukrainian troops alongside other allies, adding that together they will train another 10,000 people in the first half of 2024.
- On February 15, media reported that the UK and Latvia would lead an international coalition to provide Ukraine with drones, which would provide the country with thousands of UAVs, including FPV drones.
- On February 17, it was announced that the UK is working with several countries to provide Ukraine with thousands of new artificial intelligence-enabled drones.
