Ukrainian forces hit 11 Russian manpower concentration areas over last day

Russian attacks across Ukraine

During the day, Russia launched 1 missile strike, 94 airstrikes, and 89 attacks with multiple launch rocket systems at the Ukrainian troops’ positions and populated areas. Unfortunately, Russian terrorist attacks have resulted in injuries and deaths among the civilian population. Multi-storey and private buildings, as well as critical infrastructure facilities, were destroyed and damaged.

Frontline situation 

Near the state Ukrainian border with Russia and Belarus, the situation hasn't changed significantly, and no enemy offensive groups have been detected. Certain units of the Belarusian Armed Forces are performing tasks in the areas bordering Ukraine.

At the same time, the Russian army continued shelling the entire borderline with mortars and artillery: over 20 settlements across the Chernihiv, Sumy, and Kharkiv regions were attacked. 

In the Kupyansk sector, Russia did not conduct any offensive actions, but launched two airstrikes on Novoehorivka in the Luhansk region. About 10 localities came under artillery and mortar fire.

In the Lyman sector, Ukrainian troops repelled two Russian attacks near Yampolivka, Donetsk region, and Bilohorivka, Luhansk region, where the Russian troops unsuccessfully tried to break through the Ukrainian defense. More than 10 settlements suffered from enemy artillery and mortar attacks.

In the Bakhmut sector, Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled eight Russian attacks in the areas of Bohdanivka, Ivanivske, and Klishchiivka in the Donetsk region. About 10 settlements came under artillery and mortar fire.

In the Avdiivka sector, Ukrainian troops repelled 10 enemy attacks near Avdiivka and another 2 attacks near Nevelske in the Donetsk region. About 20 localities were subjected to artillery and mortar attacks.

In the Marinka sector, the Ukrainian Defense Forces are holding back the Russian army in the areas of Heorhiivka, Pobieda, and Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region, where the invading troops, with the support of aviation, tried to improve its tactical position 11 times. About 5 settlements came under Russian fire.

In the Shakhtarsk sector, Russian troops did not conduct any offensive actions. However, about 10 localities came under artillery and mortar fire.

In the Zaporizhzhia sector, Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled an enemy attack in the area east of Mala Tokmachka. About 20 settlements were subjected to artillery and mortar shelling by the invading Russian troops.

In the Kherson sector, the Russian army does not abandon its intention to drive Ukrainian units from their footholds on the left bank of the Dnipro River. During the day, the Russian forces made an unsuccessful attempt to storm the Ukrainian positions of our troops here. Over 5 localities were subjected to numerous enemy attacks.

Ukrainian strikes against Russian military positions

Over the day, Ukrainian aviation struck 11 manpower concentration areas, a command center, and 3 areas where anti-aircraft missile systems were located. The Air Defense Forces destroyed 16 Shahed-136/131 UAVs.

The missile troops struck at the manpower concentration area, 4 artillery pieces, 1 control center, 2 munitions depots, and electronic warfare equipment.

• Over the last day, February 12, 84 combat engagements took place at the front. Ukrainian defenders successfully repelled 70 Russian attacks in 8 key areas and killed 1,090 soldiers.
