Now the Ukrainian Armed Forces are trying to unite all the footholds in this area into one in order to push the Russian troops further inland as soon as possible. If these footholds are sufficiently expanded, the Ukrainian Armed Forces plan to deploy the necessary amount of heavy equipment and artillery. The Ukrainian Armed Forces are planning to expand the bridgehead not only in length, but also in depth, width, and into enemy's ranks," Tymochko said.
The Russian forces are trying to continuously counterattack there, but even the Russian military commanders themselves, pro-Russian analysts, all unanimously say that the hopes they had for Colonel General Mikhail Teplinski have failed.
