"You know, I would not like to comment on the president's words in particular. Perhaps everyone understands perfectly well what we are talking about. They were not shot down, but destroyed. Shooting down is more about the sky," the spokesman said.
According to him, the destruction of the aircraft and helicopters took place at the airfields where they were based. In addition, he explained that it was the destruction of these aircraft, not the shooting down.
"This is what the president was probably talking about. Therefore, of course, the means supplied by our partners, high-precision long-range weapons, are exactly what we need to deter the aggressor," Ihnat added.
