Ukraine's battlefield victories directly shape negotiations — major general

Ukrainian Armed Forces Reserve Major General Volodymyr Havrylov stated this on Espreso TV.

"Our victories on the front directly influence the entire negotiation process. And any such events must definitely be used as an argument in our discussion with President Trump's administration. Because they are living under strong influence from Putin and his circle, who have already learned to manipulate this group of people who lack experience in historical work on international issues. They are more business-oriented, they only believe in numbers, and therefore any of our successes on the front must be immediately presented for discussion with the Americans, so they can see what is happening," Havrylov noted.

The major general added that the most important thing is to show the Americans that this war is not about the number of Russian troops or population, not about Russia's territory being larger than Ukraine's, and not about Russia's industry exceeding Ukraine's. This is a technological war of a completely different nature, in which both sides essentially have parity.

"This means that Russia has no chance whatsoever of achieving the goals of this operation through military means. And all these things must be constantly communicated to the Trump administration, so that this illusion they have—that Russia is a great monster that cannot be defeated—is gradually brought into reality," Havrylov emphasized.
