Ukraine returns bodies of 909 fallen defenders
On Friday, May 16, as part of repatriation efforts, the bodies of 909 fallen soldiers of the Ukrainian Defense Forces were returned to Ukraine

The Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War reported the information.
Among the returned fallen defenders are soldiers who defended Ukraine in the Kurakhove, Pokrovsk, Bakhmut, Vuhledar, Luhansk, Zaporizhzhia, Sumy, and Kharkiv sectors, as well as bodies handed over from morgues in Russian territory.
Investigators from law enforcement agencies, together with expert institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, will identify the deceased as soon as possible.
