Ukraine returns bodies of 250 fallen defenders

Ukraine’s Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War reported the information.

The fallen soldiers of the Ukrainian Armed Forces were transferred from the Luhansk, Bakhmut, Marinka, Avdiivka, Kherson, and Zaporizhzhia directions, as well as from Mariupol, Horlivka, and morgues in Russia.

"The bodies were repatriated with the assistance of the Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War, the Ministry of Reintegration, the Commissioner for Missing Persons in cooperation with the Joint Center at the Security Service of Ukraine, the Central Military Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, other law enforcement agencies, departments and international organizations," the statement said.

• On June 14, Ukraine managed to return 254 fallen servicemen of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
