Andriy Yermak, head of the President's Office, reported on Telegram.

As part of the Ukrainian President’s Bring Kids Back UA initiative, another 17-year-old teenager was rescued from the temporarily occupied territory.

The boy had spent most of his life under occupation, constantly monitored by Russian troops.

According to Andriy Yermak, he was under particular pressure because his father and brother live in territory controlled by Ukraine - a fact he was forbidden even to mention.

“The boy decided to escape. He sought help from partners of the Bring Kids Back UA initiative - the Ukrainian Child Rights Network—which organized a safe route. Today, the boy is already in Ukrainian-controlled territory, receiving the necessary assistance and support,” Yermak said.

  • As part of the Bring Kids Back UA presidential initiative, a group of children aged 3 to 18 who had been in Russia and the temporarily occupied territories have been returned to Ukraine.
