Ukraine reports 142 combat clashes at front, repels 44 attacks in Pokrovsk sector

The Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Staff stated this in its report as of 08:00 a.m.

According to the updated information, yesterday, Russian forces carried out four missile and 63 air strikes, used ten missiles, and dropped 76 guided aerial bombs. In addition, they fired 6,132 times, including 118 times from multiple launch rocket systems, and deployed 3,416 ‘kamikaze’ drones for attacks.

Three settlements in Sumy region, 1 settlement in Kharkiv region, 1 settlement in Donetsk region, 2 settlements in Zaporizhzhia region, and 1 settlement in Kherson region were hit by Russian air strikes.

Over the past day, the aviation, missile forces, and artillery of the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck six Russian manpower and weapons concentration areas, as well as two artillery systems and one Russian air defense system.

Frontline situation

In the Sumy and Kursk sectors, Ukrainian defenders repelled 20 Russian attacks. Russian troops also carried out ten airstrikes using 17 guided bombs and fired 257 times, including 8 times from multiple launch rocket systems.

In the Kharkiv sector, Russian forces attempted seven times to break through the Ukrainian defensive lines near Vovchansk, Stroivka, and Fyholivka.

In the Kupiansk sector, three Russian attacks took place yesterday. Ukrainian defenders repelled assault actions near Stepova Novoselivka, Zelenyi Hai, and in the direction of Holubivka.

In the Lyman sector, Russian troops attacked 17 times, trying to break through Ukrainian defenses near Novyi Myr, Karpivka, Ridkodub, Tverdokhlibove, and Kolodiazi.

In the Siversk sector, Russian forces made four attempts to advance near Hryhorivka and Ivano-Dariivka.

In the Kramatorsk sector, Russian troops launched six attacks near Chasiv Yar and in the directions of Predtechyne and Bila Hora.

In the Toretsk sector, Russian forces carried out 21 attacks near Diliivka, Toretsk, Leonidivka, Rusyn Yar, and Yablunivka.

In the Pokrovsk sector, Ukrainian troops stopped 44 Russian attacks near Malynivka, Myroliubivka, Myrne, Promin, Novoserhiivka, Udachne, Kotliarivka, Muravka, and Oleksiivka.

In the Novopavlivka sector, Russian troops launched ten attacks near Vesele, Shevchenko, Bahatyr, and Vilne Pole during the past day.

In the Orikhiv sector, the invading Russian forces attempted once to advance on the Ukrainian positions in the direction of Novoandriivka.

In the Prydniprovskyi sector, Russian troops made two unsuccessful attempts to attack Ukrainian units’ positions during the past day.

In the Huliaipole sector, no combat clashes were recorded.

On the border with Belarus, no signs of Russian offensive groups were detected.
