Ukraine hands over 70 collaborators to Russia as part of exchange
On Friday, May 23, Ukraine, as part of a 1,000 for 1,000 prisoner exchange, handed over 70 collaborators to Russia

It is noted that under the state project "I Want to Go to My People," which is implemented by the Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War with the support of the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine, the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), and the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights, 70 collaborators were transferred to the Russian Federation.
In parallel, dozens of Ukrainian civilian hostages, who had been unlawfully held by Russian authorities for years, were returned from Russian captivity.
Profiles of 31 collaborators who left Ukrainian territory today are published on the "I Want to Go to My People" project website, marked as "departed."
- On May 23, Ukraine and Russia launched the largest prisoner exchange since the beginning of the full-scale war. It will continue over several days. In the first phase of the 1,000 for 1,000 exchange agreement, Ukraine returned 390 military personnel and civilians.
