Trump frustrated with both Russia and Ukraine in peace talks
U.S. President Donald Trump is disappointed with both Russia and Ukraine in the negotiation process regarding a ceasefire and the end of the war

This was stated by White House spokesperson Karoline Leavitt at a briefing.
She confirmed that U.S. Special Representative Steve Witkoff was in Russia for direct talks with Kremlin leader Vladimir Putin regarding the ceasefire between Russia and Ukraine and the signing of a peace agreement.
"I think the president has clearly expressed that he has been constantly frustrated by both sides of this conflict, and he wants this fight to end, he wants the war to end," Leavitt emphasized.
She noted that the Trump administration believes it has leverage in the peace talks, which they intend to use. According to her, Trump is determined to see the matter through to the end.
- US Special Representative Steve Witkoff arrived in Russia. In St. Petersburg, he held a meeting with Russian dictator Vladimir Putin, which lasted more than four hours. Meanwhile, the White House called it "a step towards a ceasefire" in Ukraine.
