"Russia has total advantage in personnel": Ukraine's chief of artillery intelligence on situation in east
Chief of Artillery Intelligence of the 4th Rubizh Brigade, Captain of the National Guard of Ukraine Volodymyr Nazarenko noted that Russia's tactics are to massively use the advantage in human resources
He said this on the Espreso TV channel.
‘The situation in the east of the country remains extremely tense. The enemy is trying to put pressure and advance further. We are talking about the Bakhmut, Siversk and Lyman directions. The enemy's main tactic is to use the advantage in human resources to the fullest, not valuing either human lives or resources,’ noted Nazarenko.
According to the head of artillery intelligence of the 4th Rubizh Brigade, Russian troops continue to use a huge amount of artillery ammunition, as well as actively use drones with discharges, FPV drones and Krylo attack drones.
‘Enemy UAVs are conducting reconnaissance and adjusting strikes, which greatly complicates the situation. However, the Defence Forces continue to hold their positions and inflict significant losses on Russian troops,’ Nazarenko said.
- Serhiy Zgurets, director of the information and consulting company Defense Express, noted that the Russians are using a sustainable strategy, outnumbering the Ukrainian forces in manpower and equipment.
- Vladyslav Selezniov, a military expert, colonel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, spokesman for the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (2014-2017), noted that the Russian army is suffering significant losses and is bleeding out.
- Journalist Natalia Biryukova noted that as of today, shops and public transport have been shut down in Myrnohrad.
