According to Andriushchenko, Russian forces managed to extinguish the fire after midnight.
"Our guerillas in the city report that after the occupiers managed to extinguish the fire, three Ural trucks with people left the city in the direction of Novoazovsk. Most likely, they were transporting seriously wounded people. Because seriously wounded people are not left in Mariupol. The city only accepts light and moderate wounded. That is, those who can be saved. The seriously wounded are taken to Novoazovsk and Taganrog," he added.
