Roman Pohorily, co-founder and analyst of the DeepState project, reported the information on Espreso TV.

"The whole stretch from Arkhanhelske to Karlivka in the Avdiivka area is under active Russian military operations. They are maintaining pressure along this entire line, using different tactics in various locations. The Russian forces have made advances from Ocheretyne along the railroad and continue to push forward there. There have also been movements in the Karlivka area, where the Russian forces are deploying infantry, even in small groups, attempting to establish positions and conceal themselves," he noted.

Pohorily mentioned that the Russian troops have concentrated several tens of thousands of personnel in the Avdiivka area.

"The Russian forces are pushing hard in the Sokol area and have reached Yevhenivka, where they're reinforcing their position. The situation is tense as they try to advance further, bringing in more troops and using vehicles, aircraft, and artillery. The battles there are very active," he explained.

It is not possible to stop the advance and stabilize the front in this area due to the large number of Russian soldiers, according to the DeepState project analyst.

"They have an advantage in terms of human resources, equipment, and munitions. Even their ammunition is used extensively by numerous infantry units advancing constantly. This is a key factor to consider," he stated.

  • Since the beginning of the day on July 3, 90 combat engagements took place on the frontline. The largest number of attacks took place in the Pokrovsk sector.

  • In the Donetsk region, the Russian army is deliberately destroying Ukrainian wheat fields. On July 2 alone, it shelled wheat fields in the region twice.
