This was reported by the city's self-proclaimed mayor, Igor Tkachenko, according to Krym.Realii.
He mentioned that a state of emergency is in place in Feodosia due to the fire. Tkachenko also noted that residents evacuated from the area near the oil depot are now returning to their homes.
The previous day, Tkachenko stated that the situation with the fire at the oil depot, following the Ukrainian strike, had stabilized.
- On the night of October 7, explosions were heard in Crimea when Ukrainian Defense Forces drones attacked an oil depot in Feodosia. It was later reported that the Pantsyr-S1 air defense system, located at the oil terminal, was also hit. This system had been there since the fall of 2022.
- The Atesh guerrilla movement stated that the destruction of the oil depot has caused a significant fuel shortage for the Russian Armed Forces in occupied Crimea.
