Sanctions against Russia and support for Ukraine: Zelenskyy announces 2 new security agreements
In Washington, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced two new security agreements with partners. They will include support for sanctions against Russia and Ukraine's accession to the EU and NATO
Zelenskyy announced this on Telegram.
"We will now sign two new security agreements. The agreements include support for sanctions against Russia, support for our accession to the EU and NATO, support for our defense - our soldiers, all our people, and reconstruction. We take all this into account in security agreements exactly as we need to," the president wrote.
Zelenskyy also announced at least ten talks with country leaders. In particular, a meeting in the US Congress on July 10.
"Today there will be meetings in the US Congress - both parties, both chambers. We appreciate the American support, and today we will talk about how to add even more good results to our cooperation with America - preferably long-range and far-reaching," he added.
In addition, the President of Ukraine said that a decision on F-16 aircraft for Ukraine is expected soon.
"Yesterday, we received a decision for Ukraine on 5 more Patriots and dozens of other air defense systems, today - a decision on aircraft," Zelenskyy wrote.
