Anatolii Khrapchynskyi, an aviation expert and the deputy general director of a company that produces electronic warfare systems, made this statement on Espreso TV.

"The Beriev plant is the only one in Russia involved in the modernization and repair of Tu-95MS aircraft, which are actively used for strikes on Ukrainian territory by launching Kh-101 and Kh-555 cruise missiles. This plant once produced projects like the A-50 and A-100, but these programs were suspended because most of the prototypes and some operational components were destroyed, which now prevents Russia from resuming these programs," Khrapchynskyi noted.

According to the aviation expert, the A-60 aircraft is an old Soviet project that was intended to disable U.S. early warning satellite systems by blinding the optics of these satellites or other systems with a laser beam.

"We know that Russia uses a multitude of American components, yet it threatens the United States. This creates a paradox: if they defeat the U.S., where will they get their technology? It should be noted that this aircraft posed a greater threat to the satellite systems of the U.S. and other countries because it could interfere with their operation," Khrapchynskyi added.

  • In an effort to diminish Russia's military, economic, and offensive potential, the Ukrainian Defense Forces attacked a series of targets on the night of November 25.

  • Over the past 24 hours, the Russian army lost 1,120 soldiers in the war against Ukraine. The Defense Forces also neutralized dozens of units of enemy equipment and weaponry.
