Russia plans attacks on hospitals in Luhansk, Belgorod regions, aiming to blame Ukraine - military expert Sniehyriov
Russia plans to divert global attention from the Okhmatdyt attack by conducting terrorist attacks on temporarily occupied Luhansk, suggests military expert and Prava Sprava co-chairman Dmytro Sniehyriov
He shared the information on Espreso TV.
"The analytical department of the Prava Sprava public initiative has obtained information that Russia is planning to attack medical institutions in the occupied districts of Luhansk region, in particular in Luhansk and Belgorod region. This will be presented as a retaliatory action by the Ukrainian Defense Forces for Okhmatdyt. The Russians are planning to accuse the Ukrainian side of the deliberate nature of the strike, which should cause numerous deaths among the civilian population," Sniehyriov suggested.
The military expert highlighted that this isn't the first instance where the Prava Sprava civil initiative has issued warnings about such violent provocations by Russia.
"This was the case with the trial of Azov fighters, which was supposed to take place in Mariupol, but two days later Prava Sprava reported about it. Additionally, the civil initiative foiled a violent provocation targeting civilian sites in Luhansk involving the Tochka-U shopping center. The occupiers eventually acknowledged the presence of six launchers, contradicting their earlier denials," Sniehyriov explained.
The co-chairman of the Prava Sprava public initiative also added that by terrorist attacks in the temporarily occupied Luhansk, Russia plans to divert the world's attention from its attack on the Okhmatdyt hospital.
"And to make Ukraine look like a terrorist country. That is, to switch the attention of the world community from the facts of international terrorism committed by Russia and shift them to the Ukrainian side," Sniehyriov emphasized.
