Russian troops strike Chuhuiv with Iskander missiles injuring 9 people, including teenager

The head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, said that as of 8:09 a.m., the number of wounded had increased to nine.
Russia insidiously attacked the residential area of the central part of the town twice around 4 am.
“The occupants attacked the central part of Chuhuiv. There are damages to residential buildings, trade facilities, social sphere and other civilian infrastructure,” he wrote.
According to Syniehubov, as of 6:56 a.m., there were 7 wounded, including a 14-year-old boy. All of them are in moderate to light condition. The boy's condition is stable.
All seven victims were hospitalized with shrapnel wounds, there is no threat to their lives, added the head of the Regional State Administration.
He said that the first hit was near a house. Nine cars burned down there, windows in a 9-storey and a 5-storey building, the roof and windows of a 2-storey residential building, and two shops were damaged.
The second hit damaged administrative buildings, windows of an unfinished five-story building, and a private house.
Rescuers, doctors, police and all emergency services are working to eliminate the consequences.
According to the Kharkiv Prosecutor's Office, Russia fired two Iskander-M missiles at the city.
Under the procedural supervision of the Chuhuiv District Prosecutor's Office of the Kharkiv region, a pre-trial investigation into the violation of the laws and customs of war (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) was initiated.
