
Russian forces attack Pivdenne in Kharkiv region, wounding seven children

This was reported by the press service of the Kharkiv regional prosecutor's office.
"On April 30, around 06:30, the Russian army attacked with six UAVs, presumably of the 'Geran-2' type, on the town of Pivdenne. After the hits, fires broke out. A two-story apartment building, five private houses, and six cars were damaged," the statement says.
As a result of the shelling, a 65-year-old woman and two men, aged 25 and 64, experienced acute stress reactions.
Later, the prosecutor's office clarified that two girls, aged 11 and 15, as well as the 65-year-old woman, also experienced acute stress reactions.
By 14:55, the number of casualties reached 12.
"Among them, there are seven children: five girls aged from 1 year and 2 months to 15 years old, and two boys, aged 5 and 13," the statement said.
