Russian forces use drone to drop explosives on civilian truck in Sumy region, killing driver
On April 14, Russian forces used a drone to attack a civilian truck in Krasnopillia community, Sumy district, killing the driver
Sumy Regional Prosecutor's Office reported the information.
According to the investigation, on April 14, 2024, at about 8 a.m., using methods of warfare prohibited by international law, Russian forces in the Krasnopillia community of the Sumy district dropped explosives from a drone on a civilian truck. The driver of the vehicle was killed.
Prosecutors, in cooperation with other law enforcement officials, are documenting the consequences of the attack.
Under the procedural supervision of the Sumy Regional Prosecutor's Office, a pre-trial investigation is being conducted into the violation of the laws and customs of war combined with premeditated murder (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
