Russian losses exceed 988 thousand soldiers since beginning of war – General Staff
Since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine in February 2022, the Russian army has already lost more than 988 thousand of its soldiers

Total Russian combat losses from 24.02.22 to 01.06.25 were approximately:
- personnel – about 988,560 (+1,230)
- tanks – 10,872 (+5)
- armored personnel vehicles - 22,656 (+4)
- artillery systems – 28,527 (+52)
- MLRS – 1,401 (+1),
- air defense systems – 1,173 (+0)
- aircraft – 372 (+0)
- helicopters – 336 (+0)
- operational-tactical UAVs – 38,366 (+151)
- cruise missiles – 3,268 (+3)
- warships / boats – 28 (+0)
- submarines – 1 (+0)
- vehicles and fuel tank – 50,325 (+127)
- special equipment – 3,903 (+1)
