Russian forces change tactics in Pokrovsk direction - Ukraine's 59th Brigade
Serhii Tsehotskyi, officer with the 59th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade, says that the Russian army has increased the intensity of assault operations in the Pokrovsk direction several times
He said this on Espreso TV.
"In the Pokrovsk direction, the enemy has increased the intensity of assault operations several times over the past 3-4 days. The Russians have changed their tactics, conducting simultaneous attacks along the entire front line. Previously, the Russian army made separate offensives, i.e. stormed one point, but now it is simultaneously conducting assault operations along the entire frontline, trying to push our positions," explained Tsehotskyi.
According to an officer of the 59th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade, in some cases, Russian troops manage to make some progress.
"But advancement is possible only when the Russian army completely destroys our position, a building, a fortification where our soldiers can be, and there is no longer any possibility of staying there," Tsehotskyi added.
- The editor-in-chief of Suspilne Donbas, Andrii Kramchenkov, noted that the Pokrovsk-Kostiantynivka highway, which feeds a huge chunk of the front, could be under Russian fire control.
