Russian drone strike kills nearly 13,000 pigs at farm in Ukraine's Kharkiv region
On Friday, October 3, around 13,000 pigs were killed as a result of a Russian drone strike on an agricultural enterprise in the Kharkiv region

Ukraine's State Emergency Service reported the information.
The agricultural enterprise targeted by the Russians is located in the Novovodolazka community of Kharkiv region.
“A massive fire broke out: eight pig housing buildings, covering a total area of 13,600 sq. m, were burning. One employee of the enterprise was injured. The response involved 32 rescuers and nine emergency service units, including pyrotechnicians and a community rescue officer,” the State Emergency Service reported.
As a result of the Russian drone attack, approximately 13,000 pigs were killed.
- On the night of October 3, the Russian army launched missiles and attack drones against Ukrainian territory. Critical infrastructure was damaged in the Poltava region.
