Ukrainian Air Force strikes Russian platoon strongpoint in Kursk region

On Thursday, February 13, the Ukrainian Air Force struck a strongpoint of Russia’s 28th Rifle Battalion in the Kursk region, used for launching drones into the Sumy region

The Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Staff reported the information.

"On February 13, the Ukrainian Air Force carried out a high-precision strike on an enemy military facility near the village of Elizavetovka in the Kursk region. As a result of the strike, the platoon strongpoint of the 28th Rifle Battalion of the 60th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade of the Russian Armed Forces, which was used to launch drones attacking Ukrainian defenders in the Sumy region, was destroyed," the statement says.

The General Staff noted that this operation was part of comprehensive measures by the Ukrainian military aimed at neutralizing threats and weakening the Russian army's military potential.

"The enemy must understand: any aggression against Ukraine will have inevitable consequences. The Armed Forces of Ukraine are ready to decisively pursue and eliminate all enemy formations that threaten the security of our state," the military concluded.
