Russian attack on Tsarychanka village near Ukraine’s Dnipro kills 4, wounds 24, including child
On Saturday, November 30, the Russian army attacked Dnipro district, killing four people. A further 24 people were reported injured, including an 11-year-old boy
The Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration reported the information.
As of the morning of December 1, 24 people are confirmed to have been injured in yesterday's attack on the Dnipro district. Eighteen of them remain hospitalized, with seven in serious condition.
Earlier, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy addressed the incident, providing updates on the casualties.
“We are currently conducting rescue operations in the Dnipropetrovsk region following a missile strike. Ordinary civilian buildings were damaged, including a residential building and a store in the village of Tsarychanka,” Zelenskyy stated.
He confirmed that four people lost their lives in the attack.
Serhiy Lysak, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, reported that eight people injured in the Dnipro district attack are in serious condition, suffering from penetrating wounds, internal organ damage, and fractures.
As of 7:50 p.m., the total number of casualties had risen to 21. Earlier, Lysak had reported three fatalities and 19 injuries.
“Among the injured is an 11-year-old boy who is in moderate condition in the hospital. The rest of the victims have also been hospitalized,” Lysak noted.
Around 7:00 Pp.m.M, officials confirmed that the enemy attack caused three fires in the Dnipro district, affecting a store, an apartment building, and a private house.
Where is Tsarychanka?
The village of Tsarychanka, with a population of around 8,000 in the early 2000s, is situated on the Left Bank near the administrative border of the Dnipro and Poltava regions. The P52 Dnipro-Reshetylivka highway runs through the village.
